<p>Dynare has comments to plot the results of a simulation and to save the results.

<dt><a name="index-rplot"></a>Command: <strong>rplot</strong> <em><var>VARIABLE_NAME</var>&hellip;;</em></dt>
<dd><a name="rplot"></a><p>Plots the simulated path of one or several variables, as stored in
<code>oo_.endo_simul</code> by either <code>perfect_foresight_solver</code>, <code>simul</code>
(see <a href="Deterministic-simulation.html#Deterministic-simulation">Deterministic simulation</a>) or <code>stoch_simul</code> with option
<code>periods</code> (see <a href="Stochastic-solution-and-simulation.html#Computing-the-stochastic-solution">Computing the stochastic solution</a>). The variables are
plotted in levels.

<dd><p>This command prints the listed variables in a text file named
<var>FILENAME</var>. If no <var>VARIABLE_NAME</var> is listed, all endogenous
variables are printed.

<dd>
<p>This command saves the listed variables in a binary file named
<var>FILENAME</var>. If no <var>VARIABLE_NAME</var> are listed, all endogenous
variables are saved.
</p>
<p>In MATLAB or Octave, variables saved with the <code>dynasave</code> command
can be retrieved by the command:
